📅 Oct 18, 2025

Hello, and welcome to my gaming setup details! Here, you will find all of my computers and the specs used for each setup - and what the setup's purpose is in life.

Please note, this list isn't for me to brag! I get questions all the time about my gaming setup and what I use. So much so that I felt it was a good idea to just have a dedicated page where I can have all of my updated setup details for anyone interested.

You can check out all of my setups below and what they are used for. Jump to a specific setup or scroll down to view all of my different gaming setups.

4K Video Recording (YouTube - Social Simmer Videos)

My CyberPower PC for Life Sim Games

This is the primary gaming computer I use for creating and editing my YouTube videos for my main channel (Social Simmer). I bought it from Amazon in mid-2025 and paid around $2,000 (USD) for it before the video card upgrade to the RTX 5080 16 GB GPU, which was around $1,500 separate cost from the computer.

This gaming setup performs really well in The Sims 4, Paralives, and InZOI. I run TS4 settings on Ultra and get about 180-200fps in 4K and 200+fps in Full HD. I run InZOI on max settings and get 110-130fps in 4K during gameplay. This is probably between 150-200fps for Full HD in InZOI.

HD & 4K Video Recording (YouTube - ASMR Videos)

My Alienware Desktop for Life Sim Games

This is the primary gaming computer I plan to use for creating and editing my YouTube videos for my secondary channel (which will feature AMSR-type Sim content). This channel will be about gameplay ASMR videos (think of videos people use to fall asleep to (long, relaxing videos such as rain & thunder, blizzards, etc.).

The channel isn't currently active, but I will be posting videos soon. Some of these recordings can be 10+ hours long, so it takes a while to get everything together to upload.

This computer gets around the same fps and performance as the CyberPowerPC, but is just a bit slower due to having a slower processor.

I paid about $1,600 (USD) on Amazon for this gaming desktop in mid-2025 with a 5070 GPU (I upgraded to the 5070 Ti after purchase). The GPU upgrade cost around $1,000.

The Sims 4 CC/Sim Creator - Laptop

My Alienware Laptop for Life Sim Games

This is the computer I use to create all of my custom Sims for The Sims 4. I needed a dedicated computer for this because I have to keep the Sims I'm currently working on separate from all the other ones I've already created.

Instead of constantly moving a ton of CC in and out of my Mods folder, I have this laptop dedicated to character creation so that I only have to keep the minimum amount of custom content in the Mods folder.

Plus, I can move this around with me and sit on the couch or in bed while creating my Sims (or while mobile or on vacation). It is just more convenient than always sitting at my desk for extended periods of time, which can drive me a little bonkers.

This is my most recent purchase (in late 2025) and cost around $1,200 on Amazon before the RAM upgrade.

Other Items in My Gaming Setup

Drawing Tablet: Wacom Intuos Medium Bluetooth Tablet - Not currently used, but I hope to start making my own CC someday. I paid around $100 for the tablet on Amazon.

Microphone: Logitech Blue Yeti (USB) - I have 2 of the Blackout Editions, which were about $100 each on Amazon.

Webcam: Razer Kiyo Pro HD (Model: RZ19-03640100-R3U1) - I bought this along with a green screen, but decided not to use it for now since I'm only doing voiceovers. It is good for recording full HD, but not 4K. Depending on when it goes on sale, this camera can be between $100-$150 on Amazon.

Keyboard: Redragon Keyboard/Mouse Combo - Redragon has some of the best gaming keyboards and mice combos. The ones I buy can be found on Amazon for between $40-50 (keyboard & mouse together).
